Whether you’re searching for a place to ask big questions about God, looking for a safe space to explore the Christian faith in, or simply seeking out a church that you can call home, we would love for you to join us on a Sunday morning. Come, hang out, ask questions, and participate with us in whatever ways you feel comfortable.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING OUR SERVICES?
Our services begins at 10:00am with a time of celebrating God in song, which transitions into a time of teaching, and then to a time of reflection and response. During our services we spend time singing, praying, reading scripture, and learning from scripture.

Some Sundays we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together (also known as Communion, the Eucharist, the Lord’s Table, etc), while on other Sundays we rejoice at what God is doing in our midst by welcoming new babies into our family of faith, or by celebrating the step of faith new Christians take when they decide to become disciples of Jesus and get baptized. Refreshments are also served in our main lobby before and after each service.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
During the service, children are invited to take part in a “Children’s Story” time at the front of the church. After this, we offer various forms of child care. For children under 3 years old, we have child care (Nursery) available. For children 3 years old to grade 8 we have a KidsChurch program where our kids are taught age-appropriate scripture teachings, followed by activities such as games, and arts & crafts. If you prefer, you are also welcome to keep your child with you during the service.

Wentworth Baptist Church takes the safety of the children in our care very seriously. You may read our Child Care Policy, which governs how our church protects the kids in our care, by clicking here (pdf).
