To become a member of a local church congregation is, in essence, to make a commitment to that body of believers. It is an affirmation of the church’s mission and vision, and a declaration of ones willingness to love and serve God and others within that specific community of faith. When you become a member, you are moving from being a passive consumer to being an active participant; you are giving the church permission to help disciple you, while also being given permission by the members of the congregation to help disciple them as together we learn to declare—with word and works—the Good News of God’s in-breaking Kingdom.

Membership classes are offered twice a year (in May and November), during which we further explain what church membership means, why it’s important, and what it requires. If you would like more information about becoming a member of our church, please feel free to read through our Membership Covenant and/or speak to a Pastor.
